File Permissions

Understanding file permissions helps you manage who can access and modify server files.

Default Permissions

By default, all files are owned by your server user. You have full read and write access to all files in your server directory.

Sub-Users

You can grant other users access to your server with limited permissions:

1. Go to Users in your panel
2. Click New User
3. Enter their email address
4. Select which permissions to grant
5. Click Create User

Available Permissions

• Control - Start, stop, restart server
• User - Manage sub-users
• File - Access and modify files
• Backup - Create and restore backups
• Database - Manage databases
• Schedule - Create automated tasks
