Installing Mods

Mods add new content, mechanics, and features to Minecraft. This guide covers installing mods on Forge and Fabric servers.

Before You Start

Make sure your server is running a modded server type (Forge or Fabric). You can change this in the Startup tab of your panel.

Finding Mods

Installing Mods

  1. Download the mod .jar file (ensure it matches your Minecraft version)
  2. Stop your server
  3. Navigate to the mods folder via Files or FTP
  4. Upload the .jar file
  5. Start your server

Client-Side Setup

Players must install the same mods on their Minecraft client to join. Use the same mod versions on both client and server.
